<description>&#60;p&#62;There is an app or a free program that you can use, as well.  My husband uses it regularly, for our passport photos.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;When we did our son's photos for his US Passport, we did what they did in the embassy....laid him down and took a photo from above.

<description>&#60;p&#62;We did. We put him on the couch with a white blanket underneath and snapped a head-shot. Worked like a charm. Children's photo requirements are usually not as strict as adults and everyone was amazed how good his picture his.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Walgreens did ours for $12. I will say one thing, DO NOT put any clips in your kid's hair. I had to have mine re-done because I used a clip to pull E's hair out of her eyes.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I didn’t (we got them done at Walgreens and they were cheap), but the State Dept. rules state that there has to be a white/off-white background with both eyes open, looking directly at the camera. There are also picture sizing requirements (both the size of the photo and size of the head in the photo). &#60;/p&#62;
