I had an emergency C-section, and seeing pictures of me with the hairnet-like thing on my head, looking like total crap and obviously in immense pain because I was in the recovery room and the meds were wearing off just takes me back to how panicked I was about it and how mad I was at the nurse in the recovery room for handling my pain level so poorly.</p> <p>But if you want it done, just keep in mind that right after the baby is born the nurses are going to be pretty busy with the placenta, checking out LO, possibly stitching you up or giving you a shot or pain meds, etc. Once things calm down a bit I'm sure they'd be willing to take some pictures for you, but if you want some right when baby is born you might want to have someone else in the room. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/who-took-pictures-in-the-hospital#post-952222 Mon, 22 Jul 2013 10:08:13 +0000 looch 952222@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>I wish I had a few photos from the time we arrived at the hospital. I don't want tons from labor or anything, but I do want some from right after the baby is born to remember the moment. However, I'll be, you know, kind of busy, and I'd rather DH be involved with us than taking photos. Do nurses mind taking some of those first photos? We aren't having a doula or anyone else in the room. I'm not even thinking they will be beautiful photos that I want to share, just photos to remember this once in a lifetime moment. </p> <p>Not sure if this belongs in childbirth or photography... </p>
