DH said he counted at one point and there were 19 people in the room. I was only aware of maybe 4. I think the anesthesiologist and a pediatric nurse were also there - but cant say for sure.</p> <p>Thank god for the one med student who held my other leg and counted when DH completely forgot to. </p> <p>They told us at our tour that they were a teaching hospital and there may be interns in based on the time of year I was having DD. Sure enough- there they were...looking like deer in headlights! From the hospital side, there was a ton of people and seemed like some kept coming in and out. However, there were complications and my OB and I decided I needed an immediate C-section which only my DH (and staff) were a part of. So it was at least me, DH, midwife, nurse (both of whom were done with their shifts but waited an extra half hour or so for me), OB, pediatrician in the background, and I feel like one or two others.
