My mom was 21, and my dad was 24. We'll both be 29 (but turn 30 within a month if she's roughly on time). Even if our first had worked out, so that we'd been 28, that's still a decent gap. MIL and FIL were a bit older than my parents, but pretty sure they were younger than us as well. My parents were turning 20 (they're a couple months a part) when they had my brother, and turning 25 when they had me. I'm currently 26 (will be 27 soon) and DH is 30 (31 soon) and we just started NTNP. It's amazing to think that when my parents were my age they had a 6 year old and a 1 year old.
