People who didn't watch it in order, all the way through just saw him as the funny one but to me he was actually really sweet &amp; caring. I wish he had ended up with Rachel. I don't believe that Rachel was Ross' lobster. Rachel and Ross peaked in the observatory when they first got together, and then it was all downhill.</p> <p>Chandler was funny but pretty selfish. He grew on me too though, especially after he went into the box after he upset Joey by dating that girl. That was a Very Special Episode.</p> <p>Rachel experienced a lot of personal growth over the course of the show, so she gets a gold star for that. Monica was hilarious, but she kind of experienced negative growth. She started off pretty normal, but ended up a neat freak and super bossy.
