If they are or some reason busy I have our daycare lady's 15 year old daughter (E knows her and loves her) or DH's best friend lives down the street and has a daughter 11 days older, so we can drop her off and they play while we do dinner or a movie. Needless to say, she was never invited back. She was 18 and DH knew her so we didn't think there would be any issues, but we just weren't comfortable with that. We have had my BFF and her boyfriend over to babysit before no issues but that's different to me. I know and trust her, and know and trust him. We had never met or heard about this guy before and she didn't ask. So long story short, we are nervous! We haven't gone out alone yet. We're looking for sitters, and have reached out to a few that were recommended, but I just have not been comfortable with anyone. So we always do that and then if we go out another time we use our babysitter/nanny. We really only have the one right now, but she's usually available. We don't go out often but when we do, or if we have another obligation then my parents babysit for us. It's awesome because it's free, only downside is we have to bring them over to their place, but luckily they live less than 10 miles away. I would love to have a sitter we could call for date nights so that we don't always have to rely on my parents but I trust them the most so it works out. Maybe once the girls are a little older it will be easier to have a babysitter over. </p> <p>Who typically watches your LO for date nights, or if you have other obligations where you need a sitter? </p>
