@JessLC: That totally counts. It's nice to go back part time, just ease into it.

@MungBean: Thanks.

@kml636: I'm doing 3 day weeks the first two weeks. We'll see after that.

@lindseykaye: LO is going to be 6 weeks old, so I'm sure she'll be fine. I don't know that she cares who takes care of her as long as they feed her, change her diaper, and cuddle her close.

I went back to work this past Wednesday but Monday will start my first full week. My girl is 12 weeks old this Saturday and we have her at an in-home daycare with one other infant and two 2-year-olds. My husband and I both work full time.

I wanted to encourage you (and the others starting back on Monday or in the near future) that it went so much better than I expected. It was still a very emotional day but LO handled it really well and I am confident we'll get into the swing of things just fine. I do miss her though, all day every day, and wish I had more time to spend with her in the evenings.

I'm starting next monday after 11.5 weeks! But, I'm only going back 2 days a week. I"m just so terrified to leave her.

It looks like a bunch of us are going back to work on Monday!

How old will your LO be?
What sort of care situation do you have arranged?
Are you going to be part-time or full-time?

I'm going back. LO will be 6 weeks and will be with a baby-sitter/nanny. I'm going back part-time to start.
