However, I don't think grades are as much of a reflection of how smart you are as how hard you work. We were both accounting majors, I had a better GPA, but I also studied a lot more and partied a lot less than he did. DH is very smart and very good at what he does, but I can hold my own too. I would say we're fairly level with smarts, although if it came to a classroom type environment I might do better. Is that really necessary?) whilst DH's knowledge of all things science and history related is amazing. I didn't do that well in the reading section. I saw his college transcripts and I was pretty shocked. He's a smart guy but regular school settings wasn't really good for him. He went to a top notch school and excelled at all subjects other than math ;) Strangely enough one of my best subjects was always math. </p> <p>I think I have more common sense smarts and I've definitely got strengths in places where he lacks, and that's what makes us a good team.</p> <p>He's definitely got the better brain of the two of us though. He has his bachelors in mathematics and statistics and his masters in education. He plans to go for his phD in business within the next few years. He has a natural knack for academics, even though he's a math nerd - he is also really skilled in English and writing, so I think he's super smart all around. Even subjects he's less fond of, like science, he picks up super easily! I wouldn't have made it through my chemistry class without his help.</p> <p>And me?
