I'm the oldest, so my parents were really strict with me but they were more lenient with her. My parents said I was "boy crazy" in high school (as in, I started dating DH then...no one else), while my sister was focused on her friends and her school work. She graduated as valedictorian of her high school class and went on to a more prestigious college. My mom favors my oldest sister for some unknown reason. Maybe because she is her first? She can get away with anything, and my mom will always tolerate her. But my dad and I always say that I'm the "good" child-- I never moved away from them (my brother moved for college and never came back) and always obeyed what they told me to do. I was also cheaper because I went to public high school while my brother went to a pricey private one.
