For the most part it's him. I'm the bad cop, but I'm okay with it.

@Mrs. Lantern: I thought I'd be all about putting her in her own room from day one, no pacis, putting her down as soon as she was asleep, no comfort nursing etc,

In reality, she's slept on me pretty much from day one, I cuddle her when she's asleep all the time, I let her fall asleep at the breast and DH can't believe what a soft touch I've become, lol.

Definitely the hubby. He's the softie about everything in life. I'm very firm with my decisions. No wavering.

DH for sure! I already know I will have to be the stricter one, the disciplinarian. DH is such a softie with our dog and everyone's kids. He never sees things that other kids do as being wrong or needs to be corrected.

So far me, for the most part. I get the feeling I'll be the pushover parent and he'll be the strict one.

DH for sure. We have a good system going and it always gets thrown off when DH has long weekends. He's too much of a softie to stick to the routine :)

Good luck with your sleep training!

Overall, my husband is more of the softie but he always has less patience. So, LO takes advantage of his dad's soft side, my husband can get furious pretty quickly. That's when I become the softie.

DH by FAR!!!! I work night shifts and when I get home in the morning, DD is almost ALWAYS in bed with him! He tells me she just doesn't sleep well when I am not there! He also is the one to move things she gets in to, whereas I move her and tell her no.

DH for sure is!! It's funny most of the time, but can sometimes get in the way... Like sleep training! DS has woken up four times in the last four hours and demanded to stay awake for 30-60 mins each time and crying a lot. I said we could comfort him for a few minutes but we had to let him CIO or he'll keep waking up but DH can't do it! He said its too sad to listen to him. Aww :) I am just hoping it doesn't negatively affect DS's sleep!! I did all the sleep training 3 months ago and I'll be disappointed if we go back to square one..

Who is the softie?
