I'm not surprised Moffatt has added a new character. </p> <p>I liked Capaldi and he made me laugh out loud several times, but I'll admit I miss Matt Smith's goofy fun style. I'm excited to see what direction the new Doctor will take though! </p> <p>As for Clara, I like her okay, but she's not my favorite (Rory forever!) I hope the new companion will be a guy, because I feel like Moffatt writes better for male characters. And I'll give this Missy a chance, but she reeks of River or The Eyepatch Lady. They gave him so great lines despite it being a subpar episode. I generally liked Clara from last season, but she was as bad as Amy with the whining. She's worse than my toddler on it.
