Typically I put the littlest one in first, and unload the cart (putting things on the floor around his carseat) while watching my older one. Then, I put him in, lock the car, and run the cart back to the return and run back - which means that I have to park near the cart return. I do worry that someone will see one of them in the cart and think I'm being irresponsible. Then I take the cart back and carry LO with me to the car.
