He REFUSES to sit in it even for 1 second. And I look around the restaurant and there are all these families with their little ones (younger and older kids) sitting in the high chair eating their lunch and staring at us. And my LO will SCREAM bloody murder. So then I eventually give in and pull out my iphone and let him watch youtube videos so that I can save face in my front of other parents. Sometimes they'll look at me and give me this pitiful smile like "Oh you poor thing with the crazy kid. I get her from daycare and I am always sitting there for about 15 minutes trying to get her in. She usually gets bored and realizes we aren't going anywhere until she takes a seat. </p> <p>It is so embarrassing though. The other parents come and go and we are still sitting there. You know people are nosey! The worst is when the kids are still outside on the playground and all the teachers see us in the car (and LO is crying sometimes). I feel like a total idiot just staring back at them.</p> <p>Any times when you feel dumb in front of other people like that? </p>
