DS is 17m and I've been thinking about it. DS is SO big that it's becoming really hard to get him in and out without bumping his head or pulling a muscle lol. We'll see how long we make it, but I am really hoping to make it to 2.

She's at 21 months (yikes first time I've said that) and we are still RF. I'm hoping to get to two, but she's starting to mess with the chest clip, trying to undo it/unbuckle, so we might have to switch her so we can see her better to hopefully prevent that from that happening.

LO is currently 19.5 months and quite small for his age - he weighs about 22 pounds. So we have no intention of turning him around anytime soon. I figure we will do it for as long as we can, hopefully a few more years. It is a bit hard to get him in and out, but I think the seat is a bit too big to be rf in our current car.....I am hoping that is fixed when we upgrade to a minivan which we will do this summer.

We did around 15 months because it was getting too hard to get him in and out the seat. It was harder for me being pregnant. Also, we were comfortable with it because of his size - he was over 30 pounds and has always been a big kid.

We still RT at 2 years and will continue RT until she's too big for her car seat. The max weight on it is 25 kilos (55 lbs), but according to the local traffic laws, height is the main factor. Her head can't touch the top of her carseat. When it does, we'll get a booster seat that's forward facing.

2 years 7 months and still RF but talk about turning her FF. She is getting really tall but she has no problem RF and never complains so we haven't done it. Her friend is 3 and we carpooled to school and she was FF - we asked LO if she wanted to sit like that and she said no. I think we will turn her when she turns 3 or when she hits 40lbs - whichever comes first

We are rear-facing at 21 months (18 adjusted) and will continue as long as possible. Some my LO is small, I don't really feel comfortable using 2 as the cutoff, so we will go at least until then, but will try to wait for the height limit. I think the type of seat makes a huge difference in how long kids are comfortable. We have a Recaro Performance Ride and I really like it.

@Mrs. Blue: I'm glad it helped! C is usually fine with it but there have been occasions when she is just screaming and it's so hard to concentrate on driving. I definitely think its safer to have a driver focusing in the road and ff than a distracted driver with rf.
