Oh lord, the comments these coworkers of mine have. I get at least 3 - 5 comments a day ranging from "you don't look pregnant from behind!" (which I'll take as a compliment) to "You look huge! Oh my god, is that twins?!" to "your feet look swollen". I've also had people ask me if I planned my pregnancy around our busy season, telling me my husband "had good aim" (omg, seriously?!) and that they expect me to work on maternity leave. No boundaries.... work people just don't have boundaries.

Yes! One guy asked me why I was getting married. Mind you he is married and takes lots of vacated with his wife. I joked with him and said I want you have a travel companion.

These comments always make me facepalm. Like seriously, before you say something ask yourself "Would I like to hear this if it were me?"... if the answer is no, please keep your mouth closed lol.

When i told one coworker i would need her cooperation to meet the goals i had set with my manager before my maternity leave, I got no "congrats!", no "how are you feeling?", instead i got "oh was this planned?" how rude!

Yup! Just now! Work catered in some bagels for breakfast today, one lady asked when I was due while another goes, "Oh! I wasn't sure if you were expecting or just gaining weight..." Thanks! =\

I think who feel like they can say anything are usually ones who get away with it all the time!

I watched a girl I know call someone out in a very matter-of-fact way. "That wasn't nice." That's all she said, without any judgement or real emotion. I was so impressed. The rude person was sputtering. Try that out!

Yeesh. Yeah, I feel ya, my co-workers were absolutely terrible the first trimester or so, but I bit a couple people's heads off and never brought up the pregnancy on my own, so luckily they got the hint. I swear, sometimes I really wonder what is happening between people's brains and their mouths!!

Yes, my coworkers were the worst offenders. Thankfully I'm on mat leave now so don't have to deal with it anymore.

There were two in particular who felt they could say anything, including one who made a "joke" about the horrific acne I had in the first and second tris, prompting me to burst into tears in the middle of the office.

I finally snapped at both of them and said something like, "Yeah, I'm getting bigger because I'M GROWING A HUMAN BEING!" After they saw how angry I was their comments pretty much stopped entirely.

Sorry that you're dealing with this as well. People think that pregnant women are part of the public domain...so incredibly irritating.

Thankfully, very few weird comments. One man, who is the kind of awkward comments, told me I was carrying very 'compact'. I was like... um, OK pretty sure that was meant as a compliment, so I'm going to take it that way and move on. This is the same man that once asked me about my rent and how I could afford to live in the neighborhood I lived in (he's way higher up than me. He knows what people of my level make. Awkward).

Otherwise, there have been lots of comments like, you look so great, you glow, etc. Also, I work with a lot of women who have had babies, so they know what is nice to hear :)

yesterday we had a meeting at work and a girl that hasn't seen me in a couple weeks(i work from home 3 days a week) said 'wow, you've really popped'. ok, not so bad, i don't mind, because i know i have. then another co-worker said 'yeah, you're just so....wide, this time'! what!?!?!? thank you, thank you for reminding me that i'm bigger this time.

another coworker said 'girl, i told you, you were bigger than last time!' when i told her i was expecting a girl this time. (i had a boy the first time)

do your coworkers feel they can say anything to you?
