Also canned meat has this stigma of poverty because it is usually more convenient and seemingly cheaper than fresh protein. I don't think it is too high in nutrition and/or probably high in fat.<br /> That said, I like Spam musubi and kids in Hawaii often get it packed in their fieldtrip lunches. If you get a Spam musubi from your mom, there is bound to be someone who looks over and drools with an envious, "Lucky!"
