Hmmm. For me it was definitely braxton hicks but I guess there could be times when the baby pushes up against you and it feels hard? Not sure. If you feel tight all over your tummy (kind of like your stomach is muscle cramping) then I would say it's BH.

For me, it depended on how the baby was situated. Sometimes she would have her bum pressed up right against me and it would feel hard.

Really? BH?? They are not painful at all, just sort of feel like the baby is pushing up against by belly... BUT feel diff than a punch or kick for sure.

Ahhh, I was afraid it might be BH. I suspected since it can happen after bedroom shennanigans. Deep breaths usually make them go away pretty easily for me, but I'll have to keep an eye on it!

Yup, braxton hicks. Sometimes it would even hurt a lot. Just time it to make sure you're not getting too many of those tense moments. And sometimes it would just get hard on one side (felt kind of like a knot). My OB at the time told me to take deep breaths and try to change my position and see if that helps. Usually they would last for like a minute and then ease up.

i had that too. and realized just recently that it's braxton hicks. i guess i didn't think it was that because i didn't feel any pain. but i don't think you're really supposed to feel any pain with b/h. my whole belly feels tight. my doctor/nurse said to empty the bladder and drink tons of water. or change your position. if you get like 4 or more an hour, you might be in pre-term labor, so watch out for it.

There are days when I rub my belly and it feels super hard (doesnt hurt or anything just feels hard) and on other days, like today, where it just kind of feels like a normal belly (with a baby inside of course!)

Is there a reason for this or is it just in my head?
