A's hands and fingers are always in her mouth, she even tries to sneak them in there while nursing (but the girl's nails are SHARP!) and it's drool/spit up city! As an aside though, it's really making me mad that people keep telling me she's hungry because of it. Every time someone sees her on Skype they're all "aw poor thing, you're hungry aren't you?". Grrrr, no, I feed my child all the time thank you, babies just suck on their fingers! Just my guess. </p> <p>I can kind of recall my LO drooling so much around 3-4 months...we had a little bib on her all the time so she wouldn't soak all her outfits...I remember thinking she was going to look ridiculous wearing a bib with all her outfits but it only lasted a month or two...then the drool got under control. She's also been drooling a ton, and spitting up more. Why does fist-sucking and excess drool cause more spit up? She doesnt stick her fist that far back in her mouth. I've Dr Googled it and all I can find is that it just does, but I can't find why... </p>
