Light, composition - so much of what makes a good photo comes from the skill of the photographer.</p> <p>OP, I would definetly ask doulas in your area. Many hospitals have a policy that photos/video are allowed before pushing and once the baby is out, but not for the actual birth, so if that's the only portion you're wanting recorded you might be out of luck. </p> <p>@blackbird: This too. Birth is so unpredictable and if you only want 3-5 minutes at the end captured, it's unlikely a videographer would be willing to hang out for hours just for that. Everyone wants photos, but you can get stills from HD videos. Is birth videography really that obsolete?! Most birth videos I've seen are also super long. The actual birth is about halfway through a 10 minute video. </p> <p>All I'm looking for is like a 3 - 5 min length with stills. But there is no one in the Toronto area!! </p>
