We have been stressing that LO is a big girl as a part of weaning her off the binky and talking about her becoming a big sister. She seems to really like it!

My LOs teacher called her a big girl this morning because she let me leave with her stuffed animal she had been clutching. All morning she would not let it go. I let her take it in the car and even into daycare because I was running late and did not have time for a tantrum. Once she got to daycare though, I explained that bear had to go with mommy and that it was time to say goodbye. She thought for a second and then kissed bear goodbye and told me goodbye, so her teacher told her she was a big girl. :)

@autumnlove: that is adorable.

Hm my LO doesn't talk much yet but WE called him a big boy yesterday because we have him an IKEA flat pillow for his crib in hopes he will like his crib better. He's 17.5 months.

LO 1 says she is a big girl because she is potty trained, attends preschool and eats ice cream.
