I would think it is the teeth thing. My GF's baby is 12months and cutting back teeth and has been really out of sorts lately. Hang in there.

@lovehoneybee: yeah, I think that's my worry too...just how long it's going to be the norm, as it's already been a month. Hopefully we will all get relief soon! Hang in there.

@MerryC: 6+ each?? Yikes! I'd be crying too! E had 6 come in at once, and it was miserable for everyone but there's only one of him!

@turkeylurkey: He's 13.5 months, and yeah, we're fairly certain he has 3 molars coming in, but he doesn't let me get in there to check to see if they've cut yet, so I do know that's a big part of it. I'm just so tired. And I don't know how he's still going on so (relatively) little sleep. I guess a better title would have been "Please tell me this isn't the new normal" or something...it's been such a rough few weeks for us, and DH is working stupidlong hours so I don't ever get a break...

@lovehoneybee: I was going to write this same post! I thought one nap meant one longer stretch of sleep, not shorter! And the night wakings again! Oi vey. I know my two are both cutting 6+ teeth right now, so I know that's part of it, and I feel so bad for them, but I'm losing it. Sometimes if I throw them in the car *right* when they wake up, they'll fall back asleep for a bit.

@Foodnerd81: oh I cry :) in the house, in the car, sometimes in target....

@lovehoneybee: Ugh I am right there with you! C refuses to sleep. For the past 3 nights he has been up every 1-2 hours. During the day he won't nap! He took 3 cat naps today for a grand total of 1 hour. How are these babies surviving on such little sleep? I can barely keep my eyes open.

Gah I'm about to pull my hair out. The past week I've been super lucky to get a single hour nap out of him! I'm mostly okay with moving to one nap, as he seems to want to do, but a single short nap (usually between 35-45 minutes) is not cutting it!

We had two great nights of sleep, but last night it was back to the new norm of waking up 6-7-8 times a night! I'm so tired I can barely function!

I don't know what to do! Please tell me this gets better!
