<description>&#60;p&#62;Someone pointed out recently that even crack heads get pregnant. I wouldn't worry about stress!

<description>&#60;p&#62;Everything I have ever read or heard suggests that short term stress does not have any bearing on fertility or pregnancy. Now...if you were dealing with some prolonged MAJOR life stressors (death in family, divorce, loss of job, infertility, etc.) that cause psycholigical distress, I could see how it would affect your ability to get pregnant. BUT...if you are truly concerned you should  check with your doctor.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Hope your presentations go well! I'm sure you'll do GREAT! :happy:

<description>&#60;p&#62;Not sure if it's specific to the TWW or the whole concept in general, but my OB said stress causes your body to release hormones that tells your brain and body it's not in a good condition, which can affect getting pregnant.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Hi everyone,&#60;br /&#62;
I've been asked to give two presentations next week, one at work and one in front of a grad school class. Public speaking is a HUGE fear of mine, I go into major fight or flight mode whenever I have to do it (including shaking, sweating like a fiend, etc.). Basically, I will be the opposite of relaxed around 8-9dpo. I'm worried that the adrenaline and anxiety will somehow impede implantation. Is this a legitimate concern to have? Has anyone ever been super stressed during their tww and went on to get a BFP?
