I agree white would be bad. I had bleeding for a full 8 weeks PP. It sucked.

I lived in jersey dresses after LO (who was born in May also), but I agree that white might not be your friend.

You can also use a Bella Band, if you have one, to cover things up if you can mostly fit in your old clothes but not quite button the buttons.

I bought two pairs of jeans in a size up that I could wear a few weeks pp. at about 3 months I fit back into my pre maternity clothes. I loved having the jeans so when I went out I didn't feel like a slob. I know it's a bit vain and no one would care that I was in sweats but I cared and it felt good to be in regular clothes

@winniebee: For the first 5 months everything I owned was covered in spit up! LO had reflux so it was bad.

@volksgirl64: thx! nothing but maternity clothing fit me at 5-6 months and I don't have any big jeans - basically was always a size 2 and never had different size stuff.

Thinking maybe will get some more jersey dresses - can wear during last month of pregnancy and then all summer, too.

I had jeans in various sizes so I used the bigger ones til I "shrunk" more. Anything that fit you around 5-6 months should work fo r you PP.

Those are so cute! I don't know if I'd want to wear white though.... you never now when the baby will be pooing, peeing, or spitting up on you.

I think those would work, i would maybe not buy them in white if they are for the 1st month after birth. I lived in maxi dresses and yoga pants after birth.

Yes and yes! Either pair will work, I wore my maternity jeans for another 3 months afterwards, just because I didn't want to spend any money on clothes at the time.

I also had those tie waist linen pants that HandM makes every year.

I am under no delusions that I will be able to wear normal clothing for a month or two post-birth. However, most of my pre-pregnancy clothing is fitted and/or just won't fit me post-birth. So I'm wondering short of jersey dresses, what I'm going to do for the month of June (baby due at end of May). I know lots of that time will be spent inside w/ baby and I'll be in sweats. I'm wondering if these pants would work well for when I want to venture out? They are maternity, but seem like they could also work post birth.

http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5860&vid=1&pid=101023&scid=101023022

Or, maybe just a pair of linen pants in a size up from what I was wearing pre-pregnancy?
