I skip all the time but I agree with @cole -- banana and avocado are lifesavers!

I don't think it will be an issue, although FWIW, I tend to use organic (Plum Organics, Earth's Best, etc.) puree squeeze packs when we travel. They're made of 100% organic pureed fruits and veggies, so nothing bad for baby.

I totally agree that skipping it won't be a problem. If you do want to give her a little bit and figure out the seating situation try ripe banana or avocado-- they are easy to mash with a fork and easy to find on the go.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, I hope you have a peaceful trip.

When we traveled Wes wasn't even interested in solid food, just nursing, even at 11 months. And that was for 10 days! He happily went back to solids when we got back to his normal routine.

Not at all! We have skipped solids a few times and just picked up where we left off the next go round!

Totally not an issue! There are still times where P just nurses (like all this past week since she hasn't been well & is teething).

@keiki_mama: Was just going to say the same!

We've skipped solids for a few days when LO was being super fussy with his teeth (that still haven't come in) and he was right back at it once we brought them back!

we miss a few days here and there all the time! i figure we just started a few weeks ago, im sure she will be fine! they always say food for fun under 1, so that makes me feel better if we skip a day or so.

My dash back to the UK might be brought forward to tomorrow night as my gran is going downhill quickly.

I started A on purees 2 weeks ago and she just gets an ounce of something, mixed with breastmilk, at dinner time.

I don't want to give her anything processed until she's a year old so if I can't manage to make her a puree for the 3 days we're away (I can still give her them on travel days) do you think that would be okay? My issue is I don't know if my family has high chair, blender etc and I don't want to feed her in a car seat for safety reasons. She's breastfed so will be nursed often.

I don't want to cause her any problems but this trip is going to be super stressful without adding in making baby food :(
