Sigh...my 3 year old is like this. She was a better eater before she turned 2, and it keeps getting worse! I just keep offering...

Keep offering and try different ways of offering. New bowls, divided plates, dipping sauce, hot/cold etc.

We also have picky days/weeks...My LO Loooves yogurt too, so a good way that I get veggies into him is to do a green smoothie, with milk, yogurt, banana, spinach, and some other fruit. He usually drinks that right down!

Both of my LO's were like this. I just kept offering other foods first and finally when nothing worked I would give string cheese, bunny crackers and applesauce. Luckily it was a phase, closer to 2 both started to eat more veggies, fruits and meat. DD is 22 months and she finally started to eat salad, no other veggies! She is still pretty picky about meat but she's trying more of what I give her and has no problem with all types of fruit now.

DS has never been a good eater. Now at 15 months he's actually eating more solids than he ever has, but only carbs and dairy. He drinks milk and eats yogurt, cheese, and bread products with consistency and sometimes eats applesauce and oatmeal. The other foods that we put on his tray (fruits, veggies, eggs, beans), just get dropped on the floor. If we're very lucky he might put a blueberry in his mouth and accidentally swallow it because he didn't spit it out in time. Since DS is 90th percentile for weight, his pedi isn't worried. Do I just keep offering him other foods in the faint hope that one day he'll swallow them on purpose?

ETA: This boy better start eating more foods soon because I finish everything that doesn't end up on the floor so it won't go to waste. Not a good strategy for shedding PP weight!
