She was twitching out instead of falling asleep nicely tonight. Kept crying every time I took my hand off her back. I finally stripped my shirt off and gave it to her instead of her lovely. I think it worked like magic. Now I have to figure out how to get it out of there (strappy nursing tank, not baby safe!) as she's laying on top of it.

@JennyD: between 6:00 and 7:30 usually, so it's not so bad. She's up a minimum of twice a night though, she's never slept straight through yet.

Oh no! I am so sorry. DD is refusing to nap today, but at least only today! I hope its not the start of something though!!! I'm listening to her in her crib right now actually.... and drinking a beer while I do!

@Mrs. Superhero: Wow. That's so early. It seems early. What time does she get up in the morning? I'll NEVER see my baby if we do that :'(

@JennyD: I'm ending up giving her one nap around 11:30, then bedtime at 6. It's a stretch but at least her one nap is over an hour?

And yeah, I'm totally nursing her to sleep every time. I had just trained her to fall asleep on her own, it's soooo frustrating!

OMG! Story of my week! My 7mo is refusing afternoon naps, where formerly she has been napping for around 90 minutes!!! She screams and screams and screams and screams and I nurse her and she goes to sleep for 5 minutes and wakes up and it starts again! What are you trying? Is anything working???

My little girl (10 months) refuses naps and I know it her brothers fault. They wake her up constantly. She just takes little cat naps and that's it.

I totally understand. It's tough with two kids in the house... My younger one had terrible naps too but they finally got better after the 12 month mark. But at your LO's age, she was napping 30-40 mins usually (or missing them completely, especially morning ones). It sucks... Hope it gets better for you all soon!

Seriously. Wonder Baby is only 7 months old and has been flat out refusing her morning nap for over a week. She's super cranky (because she's tired I assume). Sometimes her afternoon nap is longer, sometimes it's only 45 minutes.

I want to throw all the sleep books out the window as they don't seem to understand that I also have a two year old to keep out of trouble.

It's stressing me out today.
