Whatever side of the aisle you’re on; I do think it’s got the potential to anger and alienate some moderate voters; the continued instance that the first black President *must* be different from “us” is getting real old, and a lot of people are tired of the thinly veiled racism. The instance that he must be from somewhere else and has to continue to prove his citizenship; that his grades must be faked (and if not faked, must be the result of affirmative action) is tiresome. </p> <p>Considering the Apprentice’s viewership has always included a strong African-American following, which dropped by almost 2/3 after Donald’s birther nonsense started; it’s a pretty silly business move.
