One of the big upsides of Barbie to me was the interchangeability - she could be fancy and casual, a surgeon and a beauty queen, a teacher and an astronaut. Now I have to buy those options in different sizes or only this particular size/shape/color of woman can be that particular identity. I also have zero desire to try and distinguish between multiple sizes of Barbie shoes. Who thought that was a good idea I don't know...
