She'll be 25 months this Christmas and we will do shatterproof ornaments on the bottom half and teach her to be careful. I just don't want to put all the ornaments back on the tree everyday so I'm hoping she'll understand not to remove the ornaments. We put ours up a week ago and have just been telling E that we don't touch the tree, we just look. By the second day, she was pretty good about it, although she still has cheeky moments and will take an ornament off the tree when she thinks we're not paying attention. I think she does it for the praise she gets when she puts it back!
