I was really hoping I'd be one of those people who tasted it and really hated it during pregnancy, but alas, that first glass tasted amazing! I had a small glass every other evening whilst on our week long holiday and now I'm done until the next special occasion. I lived in Europe for a long time and definitely have that attitude towards drinking during pregnancy - not to mention my doctor here sees nothing wrong with the occasional glass.</p> <p>DH and I are spending Christmas - New Year on an island in the South Pacific so whilst I won't indulge in any frozen tropical drinks, I will have the odd glass of wine with dinner and possibly champagne on New Years Eve. </p> <p>My plan was to get out of the first trimester before having the odd glass and as I am 14 weeks today, that works just fine.
