Last year he had no interest in trick or treating. But he seems totally into it this year. He doesn't get to eat a lot of candy so we'll let him have a special treat on Halloween. He's not a huge chocolate fan but he loves chewy/gummy things. So we'll let him have some skittles or gummy bears if he gets those in his treat bag. His first Halloween trick or treating he was 18 months old and I let him have a mini three musketeers since they're so soft. That was his first candy. He didn't really understand what candy was at that point and he was more interested in sorting and playing with the brightly colored wrapped candy.
