But our state is one of the last to go and I think it's usually decided by then. If the D race is already decided, I might vote for whatever moderate R is left in the race. </p> <p>I do think it's important to vote even if you won't change the outcome. Look at how much buzz Kasich is getting after coming in second. I've spent much of my adult life around politics (my husband works for the US Senate and I used to be in the political universe myself before it got too much for me), and even I sometimes entertain the idea of not going to vote because more and more I feel like my vote is irrelevant.
