I feel like it's probably a little of both -- a lot of really embarrassing stuff was coming out about Sony, so I'm sure they wanted to stop that. But of course, terroristic threats are very scary as well. If it had been the FBI or someone demanding they cancel the movie I would definitely think it was purely the threats, but since it was Sony, I wonder if a large part of it is saving face. Or saving their employees from getting any more personal info stolen. I'd also say that the Nazis were markedly more dangerous than the North Koreans. So, yeah it may have been an unfortunate mistake to make a movie about a live dictator, but at the same time...it's been done and should continue to be done. We've had to change our bank accts, put a security freeze on our credit and are looking into possibly changing DDs SSN since they have her info too. The stuff you see in the news is a small fraction of what's going on.
