We don't have children yet, but I know if we have a son, we will teach him about chivalry. My husband has great manners AND he knows how to treat those he loves. I think I've opened my own car door ... or any door like 10 times in the 7 years we've been together. Like, not extreme stuff, but maybe if there is one empty seat on the train and a man and woman are both standing, he should offer it to her.
