I started going gray right after college and at first I didn't change my hair routine since I already got regular highlights, but over the years it got so bad that now that I can't go longer than 8 weeks and I also have to have lowlights painted on in addition to my highlights since I'm so gray. Most people don't seem to notice until they look closely, so I guess it just looks like my hair is highlighted-streaky, but I've never dyed it at all. There's one way I can part my hair where I've got a big ol' white streak- DH says it makes me look like Rogue from the X-men.<br /> Whatever. I started getting grays in my mid-twenties. Coloring my hair would be expensive and a pain.
