Then we would circle the days we wanted to buy - I think no more than once a week unless we begged because our favorite dishes appeared twice in one week or something. So we pack 98% of the time. It is easier for me because now I don't have to fill the lunch account, worry if she is eating (she is petite) and I get to give her favorites. Their menu isn't very healthy at all, much les healthy than her menu at daycare. They say they have "veggies" every day, but they are odd things like a slice of tomato, or 2 cucumber slices. Or will your child bring lunch from home? </p> <p>Even though the menu for our elementary school looks pretty good, I think DS1 will bring home lunch, at least to start. He is fairly picky and I can't see him eating fish nuggets for lunch. He's as thin as a rail so I want to make sure he actually eats something during the day! </p>
