Long answer- I moved a lot growing up, so the only school I went to that she could wind up at is my high school. It was a magnet school that pulled from anywhere in our county, so it's possible, but I seriously doubt we'll still live here. It was also more hard core academic than I want for LO (I lean towards unschooling, so basically the opposite of that school), and has no athletics, which DH doesn't like. Unless it turned out that that environment would really suit her, I wouldn't want her there. DH lived in a suburb that's got crappy schools, so we wouldn't choose to live there even if it made sense, which it doesn't. I moved 3 hours away and DH bounced around to a ton of schools in the city of Boston. He would still like DS to go to his HS though, which is a private school for boys only. He LOVED it, but it would be a really long hike from where we live, and it'll also be super expensive. We're not in the same state as we were when DH &amp; I were in school. Even if we were, our children would not go to the same elementary school or middle/high school. The elementary is public, and mine is really bad and his is only okay.
