When I didn't hear from him about the cupcakes and was starting to get annoyed, I called and he confessed that he'd taken the day off work to clean the house and cook a fancy dinner for me as the surprise :shocked:<br /> I'm super appreciative and surprised, but I have to say that this feels a *little* like a present for himself and not for me. He likes to cook and have the house uncluttered (and we have a cleaning lady so it's not really dirty). So basically he gets a day off to do stuff he likes and relax. Hmm....
