I went to a wedding last November at the Carriage House, and I believe their recommended hotels were along Concord Pike. The most popular is the Double Tree Hotel. There is also the Inn at Wilmington and the Courtyard Hotel nearby. I believe the bride got ready at the Inn at Wilmington, but I have heard better reviews for the Double Tree. It's not the most pleasant view though. They are located next to a mall and chain restaurants.</p> <p>If you would like to drive into Downtown Wilmington, the Sheraton is very popular. If you have a big budget, there is always the Hotel DuPont. It is a gorgeous hotel but very pricey. Also note that Downtown Wilmington is very low key at night and on the weekends. It's at The Carriage House at Rockwood Park, in Wilmington DE. Unfortunately there were no hotel recommendations included with the invite. Is there anyone who is familiar with the location of that venue, and can recommend a hotel? </p> <p>We are heading to NoVa after the wedding, so still not 100% sure if we will spend the night in DE, or just drive down after the wedding, but I'd like some options just in case! </p>
