But I most definitely did not pay anywhere close to this much. I remember they were a big splurge but not like this. Maybe other retailers have better prices. I love them and wear them almost everyday in winter. I will wear them with skirts and dresses but if i wear pants I do have to tuck them in because they are so tall. I know my friend has the mid height ones and her dress pants can fit over them. I think the solid black makes them look a bit nicer and you can get them without the handles. Though not sure they are dressy enough for an office. I work mostly in an office but with some field work in an area where it gets fairly cold and snows. I want to find something waterproof with a bit of tread but that looks nice enough that I can wear it in the office too. Does such a thing exist? Another catch, has to be available in size 12. </p>
