@chopsuey119: Nope, not really sure what it was. I went to the hospital and they did a test (it looked like a pregnancy test) to see if I was leaking any fluid and it was negative, so they released me. I have my regular weekly appt with him tomorrow so we'll check on things one more time and see what happens.

@BabyBoecksMom: I was wondering if it was your water that broke! guess not? :) I was cleaning nonstop from 36-40 weeks too.
Waiting for DH to get back from the gym so I can finally vacuum the stairs.

I've been hit with the nesting bug and this house has been cleaned about 3 times in the past week. Having my husband sick this week probably helped to motivate me, since I'm now going around behind him and spraying/wiping everything he touches to make sure I don't catch what he has. My LO should be here in 2 weeks so I'm hoping I can keep this up until then :-)

@chopsuey119: I AM! :) DH and I went on a major cleaning spree yesterday. We literally swept, mopped, vacuumed, dusted, etc. the entire house. We also went through our closet and came up with items to donate and sell back to consignment shops. :) It's really hard with our work/school schedules to find time. It helps that we don't have babies yet and that we try to keep tidy day to day, but we are seriously considering hiring a cleaning lady in the new year...

I totally needed to see this thread!!! I'm horrible about keeping our house clean. Hubby would help out if I let him, but I don't like him doing it, but then its a lot for me. I did work on it some this weekend and I'm taking some stuff for donation to goodwill, etc. I'm determined to get a hold on it this week before school starts back and definitely so when we have the baby its easier to pick up. I have way too much crap though. I need to purge like something awful so there is less to put away, therefore making it easier to pick up. I also have to get out of the habit of letting the house go to sh*t when hubby is working out of town and then doing a mad clean up right before he gets home.

My house has been an absolute disaster for the past 3 weeks since finding out I'm pregnant. I've been hit with the sleepy stick and crawl into bed every night around 6 after getting home from work. My amazing husband has at least kept the dishes and bath towels clean. Today I did some picking up for around 2 hours and hardly made a dent. I've been so embarrassed about our house and thankful nobody has stopped by. We're moving in 3 weeks though so the whole house will get sorted, packed, and cleaned top to bottom. Luckily my awesome mom and mother-in-law have volunteered to do the heavy scrubbing so I'm not on my hands and knees inhaling chemicals all day.

@chopsuey119: Seriously. We've got one closet in our entire flat. It's in the hall and didn't even have a clothes rail in it when we moved in, just 8 hooks. I made DH hang a rail so we could at least put our coats in there.
Other than that they just use wardrobes, but it's not the same. They don't hold nearly as much and you can't just close the door on them.
I understand it in older homes, but our flats were build in 2005!

I'm currently in thwarted nesting mode which is making me insane! I'm stuck because we need a new wardrobe (Why don't British building designers use closets?!?!?) and a bookcase before I can make any more progress in our nursery-to-be.

@venice4504: it wasn't a mold thread.. i think we talked about it on the chapped lips thread! i brought up the humidifier and Bee went on to say that the idea of mold and having to clean the humidifier daily stresses her out, etc.
eek! I have my humidifier on 24/7 and we're so bad about cleaning it! Cleaned it this morning though. -.-

Mold? How did I miss that thread? I just really need to get the tree out of the house and then we go into new years minimalism. It always feels so good.

Well... my parents are currently paying for our cleaning lady. I don't want to even think about what my house would look like without her. But I do need to do some decluttering!

I've been so bad about cleaning level 1 and 3 of our house.

We're usually on level 2 since the kitchen and living room are on this level.

Last night after the Bees started talking about humidifiers and mold I got the motivation I needed!

Woke up and started cleaning like CRAZY. Vacuum'd, scrubbed, folded clothes, stripped sheets and curtains, gathered laundry, dusted..etc.! I have about 6 loads of laundry to do today.

One of my resolutions for 2012 is to keep a clean home! Who's with me?!
