We bought a Patagonia jacket size 2t when Lala was 15 months old. She's still wearing it and probably will for the rest of the season. This is the third season an it will probably get one more year with our younger daughter, so totally worth the money!

Here's a pic of it: http://www.hellobee.com/2012/01/20/preparing-little-jacks/

My son wore a babyGAP jacket last year that is still available this year. We also had a one-piece babyGAP snowsuit that we used for walks but he wasn't very mobile in it. Crazily enough, the coat still fits him this year! It's a 6-12 month coat and he is 19 months. :/

My LO was around 6 months old last winter and we used a fleece suit in the car. With the heater on in there, it was warm enough (I just threw on a lambskin on top of her if it wasn't). Here's one from Polarn o. Pyret that's windproof (it has 3 thin layers) and should be thin enough for the car seat.

I've been struggling to find a winter coat for my LO that is warm enough for Michigan winters but thin enough that it won't interfere with his car seat. I'm really trying to avoid having to take him out of his coat to put him in the car seat.

I was considering a baby North Face, but DH thinks I'm pretty much insane for wanting to spend $70 on a coat he'll wear for one winter. I don't care about the brand at all, I just don't know about anything else out there that is that thin but warm for him. Any suggestions?

Cute pictures of LOs in their winter coats also welcome =) Personally, I'm a sucker for the ones with little ears on the hood.
