Another one here for Uggs. You couldn't pay me to wear a pair of Sorels so I stick with my Uggs when I really need something to keep my feet warm.

ETA: Hunters with the thick Hunter socks are awesome too, especially when it's wet!

I agree, when it's dry there is nothing warmer than Uggs. I don't' have a pair but my friend swears by her Sorel boots, but I think they are a little clunky for my liking.

@hilsy85: I think uggs might be the answer. I hate anything clunky which is why I am usually in barefoot shoes or ballet flats but I think you're right, warmth trumps all!

When it's cold and dry, I love my uggs. They're really warm and comfy. When it's super snowy and slushy, I wear hunter boots with the fleece liners. I have also heard good things about sorel boots. Honestly, in the winter, it's all about the warmth! If it's really cold, I'm usually not doing much walking because I dont want to keep LO out too long anyway.

I could use some help finding good walking shoes for winter. I have snow boots and riding boots and can walk a mile or two in them but I really don't love wearing boots.

I usually wear barefoot shoes from merrell for walking but they are way too cold for winter, ditto for ballet flats. I could even get on board with a cute shoe and a non ugly walking shoe if any one had a suggestion.
