We use the same (fleece) sleep sacks for all seasons. In winter, the kids just switch to a long sleeved onesie and fleece jams inside the sack.

Haven't used our GroBag yet, but I love the Baby DeeDee. K is an active sleeper too, but the snaps seem pretty secure!

we have a merino kids one that i haven't really used yet. i got it for charlie but he stopped using sleep sacks shortly afterwards, so i will have to try it on olive. like others say, it is super duper long!

we had a thick grobag, i think the 2.5 tog one, but it felt pretty thick to roll around in. so far we've just been using halo fleece sleep sacks and turning up the heat because i don't like being cold.

We have the dede. He's 17 months old and still will sleep in it when cold. Very sturdy and button hasn't snapped off yet.

We also love our merino kids one. Worth every penny and it's lasting me through two kids.

@oliviaoblivia: baby deedee here but poly filling in between cotton. If you know anyone or sew yourself there are free patterns out there if you wanted to upcycle wool!

@LemonLong: the tangling is a worry for me. LO is a very active sleeper.

@birdofafeather: we had zipper issues on two A&A sacks and then their replacement has weird lint balls between the layers. I really wanted to like them.

@Elderberrygin: that looks really cozy. Like a baby duvet!

We were given an ergopouch cotton wearable quilt. http://www.ergopouchusa.com/product-p/ergo-pouch-organic-quilt-2.5.htm .

They're expensive - I wouldn't have spent the money on one myself - but I love it. Cosy without overheating and as an added bonus LO doesn't jam her legs through the crib slats when she's wearing it.

we really like the a&a one we have and then we have the microfleece halo ones. they are lighter, but the fleece is warm!

We use a Merino Kids wool one. It's really thin, but seems to keep her toasty warm. It's made to fit sizes 0-2 years old and my only complaint is that it's so long she kind of gets tangled up in it since she moves soooo much in her sleep. She doesn't seem at all bothered by it though.

We've had QC issues with the A&A cozy sack. She can bust out of the snapped shoulder of the grobags we have, I imagine she'll do the same with deedee.

I'd prefer to have natural materials.

What's your favorite?
Have you tried the wool ones? They're crazy pricey but look so warm.

Talk to me.
