Definitely wished the days away in the begining. Id have panic attacks every evening around 5 because it was starting to get dark and I knew we had a full night ahead where we would have to be up and taking care of baby. Once we all got to know each other and I could have some prediction for how the night would go things got so much better. The beginning is so hard with all of the unknowns. Now things are awesome and we are all a lot more relaxed and happier (LO is 10 weeks)

I'm wishing that he'd get to STTN as we're close to 6 months old. I'm exhausted from the constant wakeups right now. On the other hand, I'll miss our snuggles and him falling asleep on me after eating.

I go back and forth between wanting R to be more interactive and then realizing that I can get snuggles in and get things done when she's sleeping! I can also take her almost anywhere now so that's nice too. Its hard to remind myself of these things when I'm exhausted in the middle of the night but I try.

I find myself wishing he'd get out of this cluster feeding phase, but then I remember that in a few years, I'll be begging for all this snuggle time. I try to remind myself of that, but when I'm up with him from 2-6am, it's kind of hard!

I felt like this for almost LO's first year of life! It really is unnerving...But it gets better, I promise! And as cliche as it sounds, the time goes by soooooooooooo fast! My LO is 18 months and I have no idea how that happened...

LO is 2 Weeks old and has been such an angel baby so far! Part of me is waiting on the ball to drop and everything to hit the fan which leads me to wish for the end of every day just to know we got through it ok ! For example, he is sleeping now and instead of enjoying time with DH I am wondering if he is going to sleep ok tonight ? The more days that pass the less I feel this way but I know I need to just enjoy my newborn, especially since he has been such a little doll !! I've got to try to be more present and enjoy each moment !

Anyone else feel this way??
