I took my then HP fan 5 year old for the day when we were in Disney last year and it was so flipping amazing. We had a great day but there was so much stuff I missed or couldn't fully appreciate bc I was pretty much at his whim and attention span. He was too short to ride one of the rides also that kind of stunk. I'd love do go back and do it sans kids. The attention to detail and immersion was off the charts. They said the details are really well done. I would love to go back and see the second area. It would totally be the perfect solo mom trip. </p> <p>If you can swing it I would stay at one of Universals deluxe hotels.. Very detailed, walking into Diagon Alley gets me every time. I have one of the interactive wands and we’ve gone (without kids) the last few years for my birthday. Even my non nerdy husband really enjoys going.
