@mrsog: I think it gets easier because you get used to it but also harder, especially when they start to talk about how they don't want you to go.
DS is 2.5 and I still miss him so much during the day but I know I'm doing what's right for us, too.
And I hear you on the crafts, lol - I remember moms groups asking me to join when J was small. They would meet at 11am on Tuesdays... um.. ?
Also, I'm at the 'how do I do the three day potty training thing when I'm at work?' stage...

Big hugs, mamas!

I don't have an answer to your question but that is because I am in the same boat. DS is 14 weeks and I have been back at work since he was 11 weeks and everyone keeps telling me it will get easier, and some days are better than others, but I am pretty miserable. I feel like I am doing something wrong by being here and not being with him. But I know thats not true and I am actually doing the right thing to help provide for him and my family. I just miss him so much. So basically I'm saying, your not alone - its hard but hopefully they will appreicate all we have done for them one day :bummed:
Also I am going to check out some of the recommended blogs bc its hard looking at mommy blogs filled with crafts that I don't have time for.

@MRSHONEYBEAR: I just scrapped my blog yesterday. I was asked to start one for this reason. There was a mom's support website that didn't have any working moms so they recruited me.

If you ever want to chat or check in - I'll wall ya! :)

I also suggest My Life in Transition. Definitely a mommy blogger, but she does work outside the home and talks about it a lot.

I don't know of any, but I just came to give you some sympathy and hugs! I'm in the same boat and still trucking along. DS is 18m and I still mourn the life I can't have that I so desperately want. It's hard, but you can do it!

@pregnantbee @leialou thanks ladies! I'm going to check them out. I like to follow @thealisonshow on IG. She's not a WOHM but her outlook on being yourself, being awesome and staying positive is very refreshing in a very real way.

I'm just having a terrible time adjusting to going back to work after LO's birth (she's 3.5 moths)... As you may have guessed from recent posts. I feel like I'm going through the grieving process with giving up a life that I can't have. I'm now trying to move on to the stage of acceptance and need some inspiration. If I can't have the life I want then I'd love some real life examples of rocking the lifestyle I have. I'm a visual person and pretty tied-in to social media. I realize I'm making my sadness worse by having feeds full of stay-at-home mom bloggers and intstagramers. Do any of you have favorite blogs or Instagram feeds specifically featuring work out of home moms? I'm in desperate need of some inspiration to pull myself out of the dark hole of sadness. I feel like being able to say "if she can do it, I can do it" would really help.
