I guess I'm the odd one out. DH works/lives out of town so g's he DS and I dring week. We get home from daycare around 530-6 depending on errands. I put him in bouncer or on playmat and I do stuff around house...wash bottles, dishes, get his clothes and my clothing out for next day, etc. I eat dinner around 630 or 7 because I usually feed him at 6. I feed him again at 830-9 and then he goes down for the night. 30 minute shred by Jillian michaels is great. 3 levels and I can get a great workout in once the LO is down in 30 mins.

I've also done TurboFire (another BeachBody program) and LOVED that, those workouts are pretty short too. Never more than an hour but I would say they average a half hour. I'm a BeachBody "coach" so I could really answer questions about any of their programs!

I don't work, but with my husband being deployed I never have much time to workout since I only really can while navybaby naps. I did the BeachBody program 10 Minute Trainer which you workout for at least 10 minutes every day and up to 30 minutes if you have the time/energy (they're DVDs). If you want more info on that program feel free to ask :-) I was really happy with the results I got with it and now that my son is regularly napping for longer periods of time I just started ChaLEAN Extreme, but those workouts are all only about 40 minutes as well.

@littlek: I WISH we had a machine at home. Lucky you! I do the best at the gym, which is 2 mi. away. And that would take way longer than 30 min.

I have the same exact schedule. I try working out at 8 pm once LO goes to sleep. I exercise on the elliptical machine we have in our basement for about 30 minutes.

If you're a WOHM, when do you find time to exercise, what do you do, and how often do you do it? Should add that I also have sore wrists/hands postpartum (De Quervain's tenosynovitis).

My LO is 6 months old, and I am a WOHM. While on maternity leave, I started getting back into exercising with the hope of getting back into shape near when I went back to work at 4 mo pp. Well, I'm still not back to where I want to be, and I'm now at work 45 hrs per week. In fact, being back at work and around treats constantly has probably helped even GAIN a little weight! I still look 4-5 months pregnant, and my stomach is a mushy mess.

Here's the scoop: My LO does not sleep through the night, so I'm exhausted all the time. Also not having nearly as much caffeine as I'd like due to BF. LO wakes up around 5:30a-6a, and I BF feed him and leave for work by 7:30. While at work, I use 2 15-min breaks and 30 min of my 1-hr lunch break to pump. After work, I pick up LO from daycare and get home around 5:30. I have maybe 30 min. to play with him before starting his bedtime routine to get him to sleep by 7p. And then my husband and I make and eat dinner and get stuff ready for the next day. And I pump one more time around 9p.

Appreciate any suggestions for how to make exercise part of my life again, given my WOHM schedule. Thanks!
