The only way to get into the other program is to be there from infancy so we don't qualify. In fact, we may be moving very close to you for schools (and other reasons). Where we are now, I think we would choose homeschooling over private schools. The benefits of private schools in our area don't outweigh the things we would have to sacrifice... Mainly we would be spending a TON of time in the car. But, I've started thinking about whether we will do private kindergarten or send him to public shool and then after care. I'm leaning towards private kindergarten because it will be sooo much easier and we love his current school. I can drop LO off normally and he can stay there all day. If he goes to public school, I will have to change daycares and probably change my work hours. What are other people thinking about doing? </p>
