@yellowbird: This is what I'd like to do! I'm just too chicken to cut out a pump session right now in case my supply tanks too much.

I'm in the same spot too. I'm pumping twice a day, but my supply took a real hit when I dropped to 2. I have enough milk to get to about 14 months, so I'm going to take the gamble and go to one time a day when I go back to teaching in a week.

I started pump weaning around 11 months - went from 2 pumps a day during work hours to 1 pump a day. At that same time, we started mixing in cows milk at a 1 to 3 ratio (so 25% cows milk) during work days. I ended up pumping less than I would compared to the 2 sessions but we would supplement with my freezer stash and cows milk mix in. I stopped pumping altogether at 1 year. We gradually started increasing the cows milk (timing based on freezer stash size and pump stash) so by the time my stash ran out, DD was fully on cows milk only during the day (around 13 months). During that time I also continued to nurse full-time on weekend. When she transitioned to cows milk full-time during work days, then I stopped nursing during the day but I continued to nurse DD during morning and bedtime until just shy of 16 months. Since it was a gradual transition I don't think it affected my supply too much on weekends.

I'm struggling with this now. Now at 1 pump at work (for gradually less tjme), still nursing morning and evening. On weekends, I've been doing the 1 shorter pump in the middle of the day because he'll take the milk in a sippy but is way too distracted to nurse mid-day. 14 months here. Hoping to stop the pumping by the end of next week. Eek!

I'm not ready to pump wean yet, but I did drop to 2x a day at work, even tho I was still nursing an extra session on my home days. (I'm in the office 3x)... I would try to wean and see what happens and pick it back up if it dramatically affects your wknd sessions, but I think you'll be okay, esp with your stash!

I CANNOT WAIT TO QUIT PUMPING IN THREE MONTHS.

I wish I had advice on this - my LO is 9 months and I cut back to 2 pump sessions/day a few weeks ago. Then she started STTN not long after and my supply has tanked. I am still (just barely) making what she needs each day with a decent freezer stash but I worry about weekend production, etc. also.
Whatever you decide, good luck!

@lepamplemousse: If you have enough stash to make it to a year when he can move to WCM, then I would go ahead and stop pumping!

If you are a WOHM, when did you stop pumping? Did you still BF on weekends?

LO is 10 months old. He currently nurses 2x a day (morning and at night) and on weekends. He drinks two 6 oz bottles at daycare while I'm gone as well as 3 meals a day. I'm pumping twice a day at work but am so over it. I have a big enough freeze stash for his daycare bottles until he's a year old. I want to knock off a pumping session but am worried that 1 pump a day will affect my supply so that he's not getting enough on weekends if I BF. It's always hit or miss on whether DS will take a bottle at home.
